The Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Sioux City’s revenue in its first 11 months has fallen short of projections, but still outpaced its predecessor. The Hard Rock took in $70 million in gambling revenue in its first 11 months through June 30.

The total number of Macau gaming and junket jobs shrank by about 800 during the second quarter of 2015. It’s another example of the impact resulting from the absence of high rolling gamblers who have been avoiding the Macau casinos.

The Arizona Department of Gaming says contributions to the state from tribal gambling revenue will be about $25.8 million for the quarter that ended on June 30. That’s about 4.5 percent more than the same quarter in 2014.
