The Arkansas Supreme Court has denied a request to reconsider the casino-gambling ballot issue. The court had ordered that votes on the proposed constitutional amendment not be counted Nov. 8th.
New Jersey’s Asbury Park Press has come out against the expansion of casino gambling in the state. Last week’s editorial says that the wording of the ballot question to allow two casinos in Northern New Jersey has “too many unanswered questions to warrant support.”
