Slot revenue continues to drop at Conn. casinos

According to the Associated Press, slot machine revenue from Connecticut's two casinos continues to fall, which has officials saying September could end up the gaming industry's worst month in recent history.

Connecticut casinos' slot machines revenue fallsFoxwoods Resort Casino and Mohegan Sun casino representatives say they think people are being more cautious with their disposable income.

Foxwoods is saying their slot revenue was down 16 percent between September 2007 and September 2008. Mohegan Sun's president says its slot revenue dropped 13 percent.

Foxwoods profit slot profits in September were $56.5 million, while the Mohegan Sun's were slightly more than $67 million.
