Kathy George named CEO at FireKeepers Casino

FireKeepers Casino Hotel in Michigan has named Kathy George as its new CEO.
George, was FireKeepers casino’s former general manager and vice president of hotel operations and is already in her new position. The announcement was made Monday by Jamie Stuck, Tribal Council Chairperson of the Nottawaseppi Huron Band of the Potawatomi said Monday.
She replaces Brian Decorah, the casino’s CEO since January 2016.
“It is an honor to be selected to lead the FireKeepers Casino Hotel Team as CEO,” George said in a release issued Monday. “The entire FireKeepers Casino Hotel team is committed to being the casino of choice and I look forward to the opportunity to continue this and help lead us into our bright future.”
George came to FireKeepers in 2012. She has held various roles in casinos and hotels across the country, notably with Wyndham Hotels and Resorts and Seneca Gaming Corp.
FireKeepers, located near Battle Creek in the south central portion of the state, opened in August 2009 and features an 111,700-sq. ft. gaming floor with nearly 3,000 slot machines, 70 table games, restaurants, lounges and live poker and bingo rooms.
