In an apparent consolidation of executive leadership in Atlantic City, Rick Mazer, regional president of Harrah’s since 2013, has left Caesars Entertainment, the company announced Thursday.
Kevin Ortzman immediately has taken over the role of regional president in the Atlantic City region, which oversees Bally’s, Caesars and Harrah’s Resort.
A statement from Caesars said, “Rick served the company for 21 years in a variety of leadership roles, and on behalf of Caesars Entertainment, we thank Rick for his contributions and wish him all the best in his future endeavors,”
Ortzman has been with Caesars Entertainment for 13 years. Since 2012, he has been president of Bally’s and Caesars and is president of the New Jersey Casino Association and on the Casino Reinvestment Development Authority board.
