NFL owners approved the Oakland Raiders’ move to Las Vegas at the league meetings on Monday. The vote was a foregone conclusion after the league and Raiders were not satisfied with Oakland’s proposals for a new stadium.
The owner of Hialeah Park in Florida has broken ground in Florida City on a development that will include a jai-alai fronton, and later, he hopes, a poker room that will draw in tourists, as well.
