Penn. poker rooms see 4.2 percent year-over-year revenue increase

Newly released figures from Pennsylvania indicate the state’s poker rooms notched a 4.2 percent year-over-year increase in July.
There are currently10 casinos statewide with operating poker rooms taking in a combined $5.17 million from players last month. In July 2016, poker action totaled $4.96 million.
Pennsylvania is soon expected to revamp its gaming laws in an expansion that may include online gaming platforms, video gaming terminals and daily fantasy sports. The state’s Senate begins its next session in September.
