Paraná Pesquisas, a research company in Brazil, says that 45.7 percent of Brazilian nationals approve of plans to allow more widespread legalized gambling, reports local media. The strongest support was given to poker and casino games over bingo.
Casinos could tap into $6.4 billion market, according to industry experts. However, the true value of a legal gambling market in Brazil is not known.
Brazil’s huge population is well on its way towards allowing a casino industry in the country, observers say.
