WIN Take 505 San Antonio Spurs / 506 Detroit Pistons UNDER 195.5
The San Antonio Spurs go for their fourth win in a row when they visit the Detroit Pistons. Tip-off is set for 4:05 pm PT at the Palace at Auburn Hills where the Spurs are -5.5 point favorites. The total is 195.5. The road team is 6-2 ATS in the last eight meetings while the favorite has covered the spread in five of the last six.
San Antonio (25-11, 8-9 road) has won six of its last seven to remain one game behind the Houston Rockets for the top spot in the Southwest Division.
Detroit (19-15, 11-5 home) has a couple of big question marks as they get ready for the Spurs. The starting backcourt of Avery Bradley (groin) and Reggie Jackson (ankle) were injured and didn’t play in Thursday’s 102-89 loss to the Orlando Magic. Their status is expected to be a game time decision.
The Spurs are 5-1 ATS in the last six series meetings and 5-1 ATS in their last six overall. However San Antonio is just 6-11 ATS as a visitor.
The UNDER has cashed in the last four meetings. The Pistons are 12-3-1 to the low side in their past 16 against the Southwest Division and 15-5-1 to the UNDER in their last 21 overall.
The Spurs are 10-2 to the UNDER in their last 12 road games and 6-1 to the south of the posted total in their last seven vs. the Central. In addition, San Antonio is 13-4 to the UNDER on the road. The OVER is 6-2 in the past eight meetings in Detroit.
Note: San Antonio has grabbed the last six in the series, including a 96-93 home victory on December 4.
