The major overhaul of The Linq’s casino floor is moving quicker than originally planned, according to local media reports. The remodel includes significant upgrading of the property’s sportsbook operation including so-called “living rooms” available for hourly rental.
The website vegas.eater.com reports a yet to be officially announced amenity at the Strip property will be an upgrade option allowing guests to utilize a robot to deliver select drinks and food items to guests. The exact form of the robotic wait staff is not known.
The former Tag Sports Bar and Squeeze juice bar is being transformed into a food truck-inspired restaurant and an upscale race and sportsbook bar and lounge.
Customers will be able to order food and drinks, select video games to play, and check on current gaming odds via tablets under the “living room” concept.
Although players will place bets at a separate wagering area, they can return to their private lounging areas and compete with other guests at “virtual sports” and “trivia games,” with results to be posted on “leaderboards” placed throughout the venue.
