John Hennigan, the five-time World Series of Poker (WSOP) bracelet winner, and Mori Eskandani, a television production executive who helped make the game a TV staple, are the newest members of the Poker Hall of Fame.
They are the 55th and 56th members of the Poker Hall of Fame elected by a vote of the living Poker Hall of Fame members and the poker media.
Hennigan’s accomplishments include winning more than $8 million in career tournament play, cashing 10 times at this year’s World Series of Poker, including a first place finish and leading the WSOP’s Player of the Year standings. Hennigan has been a top poker player for more than two decades and competes in all variations of the game.
Eskandani’s production work is higlighted by his involvement in the World Series of Poker on ESPN, and the NBC series’ Heads Up Championship, Poker After Dark and High Stakes Poker.
Both were officially inducted on Thursday.
