Congratulations to Donny and Marie on walloping Vegas audiences with their fabulous tunes and performances for 10 years. They have been at the Flamingo since 2008. Not bad considering it started out as a six-week gig.

They are simply amazing. There is no politics, no preaching, no off-color jokes; just pure star power and great performers delivering fun, family-oriented entertainment for all ages. Keep those gigs coming!

Catch Frankie Moreno at South Point tomorrow night (Sept. 13) if you want to see a great show at a reasonable price; tickets start at just $20. He will return Sept. 27 and again Oct. 11, so put him on your must see list.

Baby boomer alert! The Moody Blues 50th anniversary tour will be at Wynn Las Vegas Sept.19-Oct. 6. You will hear their greatest hits plus the entire “Days of Future Passed” album. There are only nine performances so get your tickets now.

On Sept. 21, Ben Bailey will be at the Green Valley Ranch … Al Di Meola is at Santa Fe Sept. 29 … Catch Boney James at Texas Station Oct. 5.

Red Rock Resort has a special Social Hour with ten of their restaurants from 5 to 7 p.m. with specially priced drinks and appetizers.

Another tragic loss was Burt Reynolds, 82, of cardiac arrest, Sept. 6. Burt had many ties to our town, including a fabulous one-man storytelling show about his life and Hollywood at The Orleans in 2002. RIP, Burt.
