EquiLottery has announced the release of its mobile device demo-version app for Win Place Show, its lottery game based on the results of live horse racing.
The merger of live horse racing results determining lottery winners officially begins operations in Kentucky on March 24, 2019, but the app can be downloaded onto Apple or Android mobile devices beginning today.
EquiLottery says the demo version features all of the basic functionality of the app that will be made available to players once Win Place Show is initially launched on a trial basis at 45 retailers through the Kentucky Lottery in March. This version allows participants to scan tickets (right now, any QR code or barcode for the demo), watch races connected to the game (races in the demo version are all replays) and check mythical outcomes.
Those participating during this trial period will see a list of “upcoming” and “past” races, watch those past race videos and find the nearest retailer with a retailer locator. The retailer locator feature will be fully ready once the list of Win Place Show retailers is set and made public.
EquiLottery says it is continuing to focus on the new live sports category for state and provincial lotteries by developing a series of live sports games that produce random results similar to conventional lotteries.
