This Friday, Mesquite Gaming, owner of Casablanca Resort and Virgin River Hotel, plans to pack the streets of Mesquite with classic cars, custom automobiles and vintage hot rods during the Super Run Classic Car Show. In partnership with the Las Vegas Cruisin’ Association, the Super Run Classic Car Show runs from Friday, Sept. 21 through Sunday, Sept. 23. The weekend is jam-packed with exciting events, and guests can experience more than 600 classic vehicles from every decade dating back to the 1920’s.

The daily Show & Shines, located at the CasaBlanca Resort and the Oasis special events parking lot, give thousands of spectators the opportunity to get up close and personal with these vintage vehicles. In addition to the Show & Shines, open header cruises will showcase all makes and models and will begin at the corner of Mesquite Boulevard and Pulsipher Lane on Friday and Saturday from noon to 2 p.m. Guests can also experience fan-favorite events at the CasaBlanca Resort like the roaring engines contests, slow drags and burn out competitions. This year, National Hot Rod Association racers from years past will make their way to Mesquite to present their vintage dragsters during the Nostalgia Thunder Fire-Up on Friday and Saturday evening directly following the burn out competitions.

Over the three-day weekend, the Las Vegas Cruisin’ Association will be presenting more than 260 awards, plus $15,000 in cash and drawing prizes for car show participants.

Spectators can also enjoy a variety of timeless entertainment at CasaBlanca Resort and Virgin River hotel. On Friday, make sure to catch A Night with Buddy & Roy, A Tribute to Buddy Holly & Roy Orbison.

On Saturday, Sept. 22, Heartbeat City will let the good times roll with an exciting tribute to the Cars. Tickets are available at, by phone at 800.585.3737 or in person at the CasaBlanca front desk.
