Green Bay Packers (1-0-1) at Washington Redskins (1-1)

Time: 10 a.m.

Line: Packers by 3 (45.5)

Facts: Green Bay QB Aaron Rodgers admits his injured knee will get worse than before it gets better. But he won’t let the team down and force the staff to insert DeShone Kizer... Washington fell flat at home last week in a 21-9 loss to Indy after having a league-best 182 rushing yards at Arizona in Week 1... The Pack plans to welcome back RB Aaron Jones, who is coming off a two-game PED suspension. He had a norm of 5.5 yards on 81 carries last year while other Packers runners had an average of 4.2... Washington, with three WRs on injured reserve and another questionable, just signed Michael Floyd, who had the celebrated DUI arrest, and Ravens bust Breshad Perriman.

Analysis: Washington’s offensive line has taken some hits the past couple of weeks, with standout OLT Trent Williams on IR and a journeyman now working at center. That’s enough to give Green Bay’s often good pass rush avenues to QB Alex Smith, who had little success against a marginal Colts defense last week, generating only three field goals. And the Packers can probably count on forcing at least one fumble by Redskins RB Adrian Peterson, who had only 20 yards on 11 carries last week.

Forecast: Packers 26, Redskins 14
