Cami Christensen is the new general manager of the Westgate Las Vegas, the casino/resort announced Thursday.
Christensen has risen through the company ranks since 2001 when she served assistant front office manager at the then Las Vegas Hilton. In the ensuing years she has served in leadership roles in food and beverage, hotel sales, retail operations, resort development and hotel operations. Her most recent position was assistant general manager and vice president of hotel operations.
“I am thrilled to see Cami Christensen assume the leadership role at Westgate Las Vegas,” said David Siegel, Westgate Resorts founder and CEO. “Cami is a rare talent and an incredible role model for all 2,000 of our team members. I can’t think of a better person to lead us forward.”
Westgate Resorts has invested more than $175 million in the property for ongoing enhancements, the company said.
