Race 1 

Maiden fillies and mares go six furlongs. No. 4 Sweet and Cheeky ran a solid second first out sprinting on the grass at Santa Anita. She only needs to take to this tricky dirt track. No. 3 Mohemian Rhapsody gets Luis Saez riding in her first start for trainer Bob Baffert. 4-3 

Race 2 

$8K claimers go 5 1/2 furlongs. No. 2 Tiz Love is a four-time winner here at Los Alamitos TB. No. 4 Royal Seeker missed by a head vs. better here on June 27th and is the one to beat. With the scratches this has whittled down to a four-horse field with No. 5 C Dub the speed. 5-4-2 

Race 3 

$20K maiden fillies and mares go six furlongs. No. 7 Sweet Honor drops into a very soft spot. No. 9 Cool Night is a first-time starter out of the dam Bonefide Reason who has dropped five winners from five starters. 9-7 

Race 4 

2-year-old maidens go 5 1/2 furlongs. No. 1 Dr. Schivel was well-bet in his one troubled start. No. 2 Freerunning is a first-time starter out of the dam Mon Ange who has dropped five winners from five starters. No. 4 Sonic Brees is the one to beat off his big second first out at Santa Anita despite trouble.  Jockey Flavien Prat will ride today for trainer Doug O’Neill. The hot-riding Juan Hernandez jumps on first time starter No. 5 She’s a Lil Flirt for trainer Simon Callaghan. No. 6 Exhalting looks the speed and is the stablemate of Sonic Brees. 4***-1-2-5-6 

Race 5 

$16K fillies and mares go six furlongs. No. 2 Magnificent Q T comes off the layoff but has run first and second in her to races over this course. No. 4 Speedy Gigi will go better today with the move back to the dirt. 2-4 

Race 6 

The $150K Grade 3 Los Alamitos Derby at 1 1/8 miles for 3-year-olds. There are Kentucky Derby points on the line in this race with the winner getting 20 points. No. 3 Thousand Words looks to get back in form for trainer Bob Baffert. Jockey Flavien Prat gets back on and he won the Grade 2 Los Alamitos Futurity here back in December. No. 4 Uncle Chuck looked super in his maiden win first out and jockey Luis Saez is in for the ride. 4-3 

Race 7 

$12,500 claimers. No. 3 Fellow Citizen drops into a live spot. No. 1 Indy Jones comes off a good second at this level last out at Santa Anita. No. 5 Abusive Gary gets his first start off the claim. 3-1-5 

Race 8 

The $200K Grade 2 Great Lady for fillies and mares going 6 1/2 furlongs. Only one way to go here and that is to single the classy No. 1 Bellafina off her nice win last out in the Grade 3 Desert Stormer. We will single in the picks. 1*** 

Race 9 

Maidens travel a flat mile. No. 1 Winners Club ran good here last year as a 2-year-old. He is working like he is ready for his first start as a 3-year-old. No. 3 Big Mel just finished second behind Uncle Chuck. No. 7 Dodger is the stablemate of Big Mel and gets jockey Dryden VanDyke up in this his first start off the layoff. 3-7-1
