Las Vegas casino fall promos in full swing

The Pumpkin Spice Lattes are back, already?

With Labor Day having come and went and football in full swing, the Las Vegas valley is transitioning to fall. Despite temperatures dipping to pleasant levels in the coming weeks, casino promotions don’t seem to be tapering off anytime soon.

Several casinos are rolling out fall-themed promos and you can expect more of those in the coming weeks. Here are the first of what will be many fall-themed casino promotions:

South Point

The folks over at the South Point are making a big push behind the $500,000 guaranteed “Money Madness” promotion. At the beginning of the month, a $10,000 cash bonus started up. That bonus is growing until an active carded slot player is randomly awarded the “Super Progressive Cash Bonus.” When the bonus is awarded, all active players automatically get $25 transferred into their account. The bonus is awarded before reaching $25,000.

After a player hits for the bonus, another $10,000 starts up. This process will continue through the end of the month.

Another component to this promotion comes through the “Free Play Progressive Bonus,” which starts at $1,000. This bonus also grows until one active carded slot player is randomly rewarded. The bonus will be dished out before reaching $2,500.

After the bonus is awarded, the total resets back to $1,000. This too repeats through the end of the month. All free play awarded for this promotion is valid for seven days. For eligibility, all club slot players must have their cards inserted with a $1 wager made within the last 60 seconds to be considered “active.”

El Cortez

It might be worth it for players to mark their calendars for the $16,000 “Dash for the Cash Drawing,” set for next Wednesday, Sept. 23 at 8 p.m. Twenty-eight winners will take home a share of cash prizes.

There will be a $5,000 winner, a $2,000 winner, a $1,000 winner, 10 $400 winners, as well as 10 $150 winners. If you plan on submitting a large volume of tickets, you might like this: The top-5 ticket earners will be awarded $500 in cash after the drawing.

You will be eligible to enter by submitting a “virtual entry.” You gain one entry for every 100 slot points you earn, which also includes multiplier points. The earning period for entries starts this Sunday and lasts through Wednesday, Sept. 23. You can submit your virtual tickets starting at 8 a.m. on the day of the drawing.

Make your entries up until 7:59 p.m. during the night of the drawing. You also have to be present in order to win.

This Thursday and Friday players can win up to 325,000 points during the “We Produce Winners Wheel” event. Sixteen players will get a chance to spin at 7 p.m. You receive virtual tickets for this drawing, as well, for every 100 points slot-based points you earn. After securing entries, deposit your virtual tickets at the Club Cortez kiosk the day of the drawing.

On Saturday, 15 players on the Double Diamond slots will have a shot at winning up to 500,000 points each, which is equivalent to $1,000 for the “Double Diamond Drawing.” One-hundred points equals one entry ticket. Earn 3x the entry on Saturday. The drawing takes place at 8 p.m.

This Week’s Big Winners: There were a number of guests taking home amounts large enough to possibly consider taking a future vacation with. A player at Treasure Island is walking away with $168,854 after hitting a jackpot on a $1 Big Monte Spin & Win machine on Sept. 10.

At Arizona Charlie’s, three players won combined jackpots of over $37,000 between Aug. 29 through Sept. 5 by playing video keno, “Bank Buster,” and “Dragon Links.”
