Race 1 

$8K maiden claimers go 5 1/2 furlongs. No. 1 Shark Cat will show all of his early speed on the drop to this level. No. 6 On Ice is a live first-time starter. No. 8 Hot looks odds on and the one to beat. 8**-6-1 

Race 2 

Allowance fillies and mares travel a 1 1/16 miles on the grass. No. 4 Mylittlerunaway is the speed and will look to take these girls wire to wire. No. 5 Surround comes off a big maiden win at this distance on the grass. 5-4 

Race 3 

$8K fillies and mares go six furlongs. No. 5 Dreaming About You has run second in three straight races and now gets back to a sprint. No. 9 Remember to Smile gets her first start off the claim and both of her wins came at this six-furlong distance. 9-5 

Race 4 

California bred 2-year-old maidens go five furlongs on the grass. No. 2 Shackey’s Love is a live first-time starter. No. 6 Kodiaction had a big last work for his debut race. 2-6 

Race 5 

$4K starter allowance runners go 5 1/2 furlongs. No. 5 Amber Louise just won a $4K starter allowance race going five furlongs on the grass. No. 9 Silent Movies also won a $4K starter allowance race one back. 5-9 

Race 6 

$50K starter allowance runners travel a flat mile on the grass. No. 1 Tallien looks like a solid single in the picks off his good Del Mar form. 1*** 

Race 7 

Maidens go six furlongs. No. 3 Night Gig ran good first out and will appreciate the extra half a furlong today. No. 6 Inch is in from Del Mar and gets off the grass and a turnback in distance. No. 7 Hot Soup was well bet first out and will go good today. No. 9 Candy Shopper also ships in from down south and makes his first start off the $40K claim. 3-6-7-9 

Race 8 

$8K starter allowance runners travel 1 1/2 miles on the grass. In what looks like a real crap shoot we will go with No 4 Shot of a Lifetime who had run good on this course and No. 8 Colour Me Happy who will try and take them wire to wire. 4-8 

Race 9 

$50K starter allowance runners go 5 1/2 furlongs. No. 2 Circus Act and No. 7 Electoral both just missed last out at this level. No. 8 Square Deal was facing much better at Del Mar as was Natural History. 8-7-2 

Race 10 

Maidens travel a flat mile on the grass. No. 4 K P D Day is the one to beat off his solid grass form and his big last race at Del Mar when going 1 1/16 miles on the grass. 4** 

Race 11 

$4K claimers travel a flat mile. We will use three runners exiting the same race. No. 8 Rate for Me who will look to beat No. 9 Aigle and No. 10 Arch Anthem. 8-9-10
