Saber’s Santa Anita analysis for Sunday

Race 1 

$50K maidens go 5 1/2 furlongs on the grass. No. 3 Capo Mafioso returns from a six-month freshening as a gelding. No. 6 Spanish Count gets blinkers on and a turn back in distance. No. 7 Gregdar looks sneaky off the layoff. 3-6-7 

Race 2 

Maiden 2-year-old fillies go six furlongs. No. 1 Heels Up takes the blinkers off for her second start. No. 2 I’m the Boss of Me exits the same race as Heels Up. No. 3 Flash Magic is the stablemate of Heels Up and gets jockey Luis Saez in the irons. 3-1-2

Race 3 

$20K claimers travel a flat mile. No. 3 Camino de Estrella gets off the grass and drops to a level where he will be dangerous. No. 5 Conquest Cobra is a good fit with these. No. 6 Caymans Cobra will appreciate the longer trip today. 3-5-6 

Race 4 

The $200K Grade 2 Zenyatta for fillies and mares traveling 1 1/16 miles. No. 1 Fighting Mad is 2/5 on the morning line and looks it with jockey Luis Saez in town riding for trainer Bob Baffert.

Race 5 

$40K optional claimers travel a flat mile on the grass. No. 3 Tiberius Mercurius gets back to the place of his maiden win. No. 5 Fly to Mars has done some of his best running on this grass course. No. 9 Lanes Way has never been out of the money in his six career starts. 3-5-9 

Race 6 

$40K optional claimers go six furlongs. No. 2 Cem Sultan looks well spotted off the maiden win. No. 5 Devil Made Me Doit gets off the grass and had a big last work for this. 2-5 

Race 7 

Maiden fillies and mares go 5 1/2 furlongs on the grass. No. 9 She’s a Perfectlady moves into the barn of trainer John Sadler for this her second start. She looks set for the maiden breaker. No. 8 Her Legacy and No. 6 Cherry City both exit the same last race as No. 2 Le Tub. 9**-2-6-8 

Race 8 

The $200K Grade 2 Santa Anita sprint championship at six furlongs. No. 1 Collusion Illusion is looking for his 4th straight win. No. 3 Flagstaff finished 3rd in this race last year. No. 4 C Z Rocket is looking for his 5th straight win. 1-3-4 

Race 9 

California bred $20K optional fillies and go 5 1/2 furlongs on the grass. No. 1 Sofi’s Gold is very live off the layoff as is No. 7 Concise Advice. No. 4 Althea Gibson is in top form. 1-7-4 

Race 10 

The $100K Grade 3 Tokyo City at 1 1/2 miles. No. 2 Combatant won the Grade 1 Santa Anita Handicap here in March. No. 7 Azul Coast just may like this trip. 2-7 

Race 11 

Maiden fillies and mares travel a flat mile on the grass. No. 1 Wind and Hope looks to be sitting on the maiden breaker. No. 2 Disappearing Act gets her second start off the layoff and exits the same race as Wind and Hope. No. 9 Viazar also exits the race and gets jockey Mike Smith back. 1-2-9
