Race 1

$25K claimers go five furlongs on the grass. No. 1 Blackout drops and gets jockey Flavien Prat riding on the turnback to a sprint. No. 5 Mystery Messenger looks set for a big run today off a real nice last work. 1-5 

Race 2 

The $100K Grade 3 Native Diver at 1 1/8 miles. No. 4 Midcourt has been meeting much better and won this race last year when finishing in front of No. 5 Extra Hope. 4-5 

Race 3 

$32K 3-year-old fillies go six furlongs. No. 7 Trouville won like a good thing last out at Santa Anita for a $40K price tag. No. 6 Miss Fraulein gets off the grass and owns a good record here at Del Mar. 6-7 

Race 4 

$50K claimers travel a flat mile. No. 3 Popular Kid has won 3 of his 6 races here at Del Mar and gets jockey Flavien Prat riding for Peter Miller. No. 5 Bold Endeavor has win 2 of his 3 races here at Del Mar. No. 6 Kershaw drops and has hit the board in all five of his races here. 3-5-6 

Race 5 

$80K maiden 2-year-olds travel a flat mile on the grass. No. 2 Endless Sunset just missed first out at Golden Gate when sent off as the 9/5 favorite. No. 4 Mac Daddy Too has run good in both of his grass races and will like the longer trip today. 2-4 

Race 6 

2-year-old maiden fillies go 6 1/2 furlongs. No. 1 Leia Marie gets her second start here on the West Coast as she moves from the grass to dirt and route to a sprint. No. 6 Exotic West is a first-time starter who is working like a runner. No. 7 Peachtree Road gets her second start and jockey Mike Smith sticks with her. 1-6-7 

Race 7 

$50K optional claimers go five furlongs on the grass. No. 3 Johnny Podres missed by a nostril on this grass course last out on November 7tn and is the one to beat. No. 2 Hartel looks very live off the layoff for s sharp outfit. 3**-2 

Race 8 

California-bred maidens go 6 1/2 furlongs. No. 4 Lil Richards Bello missed by a head here back in August when jockey Umberto Rispoli was on him. Rispoli gets back aboard today and we say he is a solid single. 4*** 

Race 9 

$25K claimers travel 1 1/16 miles on the turf. No. 4 Worthy Turk won here at this level and distance on the grass back on August 23. No. 8 French Getaway finished right behind Worthy Turk in that same race. 4-8
