Race 2 

California-bred $20K optional claimers travel a flat mile. No. 1 Antithetical just did miss one back at this distance against open company. Jockey Irad Ortiz Jr. rides No. 3 El Huerfano who gets off the grass and back to his best distance. No. 5 Bottle of Smoke is in from Golden Gate sporting a big bullet last work. 1-3-5 

Race 3 

$50K optional fillies and mares travel 1 1/16 miles on the grass. Jockey Joel Rosario rides No. 3 Zucchera for trainer Richard Baltas who also sends out the speedy No. 4 Gallovie with jockey Irad Ortiz Jr. riding. Race 5 

Maiden 2-year-old fillies travel a flat mile on the grass. No. 6 Sweetest Angel has been meeting much better going a flat mile on the grass and now jockey Mike Smith will try to get her home on top. No. 7 Ivy League has been well-bet and looks like a short price again today. No. 8 Miss Peaky Blinder looks set for a big run and she will be our key runner. 8-7-6

Race 7 

The $200K Grade 2 Hollywood Turf Cup at 1 1/2 miles. No. 2 Oscar Dominguez won this race last year and now gets jockey Irad Ortiz Jr. in the irons. No. 4 Say the Word is in from Woodbine and is coming off a Grade 1 win in the Northern Dancer. No. 8 Laccario looks very tough here off his second-place finish last out which was his first start in the states. 8**-4-2 

Race 8 

$50K optional fillies and mares travel a flat mile. No. 1 Velvet Queen looks the speed of the speed on the rail and is in top form. No. 3 Scherzo is in from Golden Gate in top form and we like the turf-to-dirt move. 1-3 

Race 9 

Maidens travel 1 1/16 miles on the grass. No. 1 Keystone Field looks the speed with the bug girl Jessica Pyfer up for trainer Richard Mandella. No. 4 On Easy Street looks to be closing in on the maiden breaker and this looks like the spot. No. 8 Frasard exits the same race as On Easy Street. 4**-8-1
