Three casinos in western Pennsylvania will be the first in the state to test table games before they officially open those games to the public.

The Rivers Casino in Pittsburgh, The Meadows Racetrack & Casino in Washington County and Presque Isle Downs & Casino in Erie are conducting the eight-hour test sessions on Tuesday. The proceeds will go to various charities and barring any glitches, the table games will open to the public on Thursday.

The Rivers and The Meadows plan to open table games at 6 a.m. Thursday. Presque Isle plans to open its games at 10 a.m. that day.

Three central Pennsylvania casinos are scheduled to open table games next week, and three in eastern Pennsylvania the week after that.
