UNLV wants pit bosses for oral history projectUNLV’s Center for Gaming Research is looking for former and current pit bosses to participate in an oral history project.

The Center said in a press release, “The interviews are part of a project that seeks to capture the voices of those who make Las Vegas the destination it is.”

The interviews will be transcribed and edited and published; selections from the interviews will be featured in a book to be published by the UNLV Gaming Press later this year. If the project is successful, other portions will be featured in future projects.

Current or former pit bosses who would like to be interviewed as part of this project should contact CGR Director Dave Schwartz at dgs@unlv.nevada.edu or call 702-895-2242.

Schwartz said, “This is your chance to let the world know what it is like to walk in your shoes.”
