Christmas gifts galore at Vegas casinos with players club points

This Tuesday is the last day to earn 1,000 video poker points or 400 slot points at South Point Casino to receive a free electric knife and carving fork set. You keep your earned points.

The casino is also offering 10x points on penny machines, 5x on all other slots and 2x points on video poker on Christmas Day.

Arizona Charlie’s (Boulder): The Wild West Buffet will feature a special Breakfast/Brunch (8 a.m.-noon) and Dinner Buffet (noon-8 p.m.) on Christmas Day.

Selections include honey baked ham, roasted turkey, braised ribs, baked cod with lemon cream sauce, stuffing, mashed potatoes, carrots, macaroni and cheese, green beans almandine, salad bar and holiday dessert selections. The price is $9.99 for ace|PLAY card red, green and orange members, $11.99 for ace|PLAY blue or $13.32 without a card.

Arizona Charlie’s (Decatur): Christmas Day at The Frisco Market Buffet will offer Lunch from 11 a.m.-3:30 p.m. and Dinner from 4 p.m.-8 p.m. Selections include baked ham, prime rib, leg of lamb, scalloped potatoes, green beans almandine, yams, deviled eggs and creamed spinach.

They will also serve south of the border and Asian stations, full salad bar, salsa bar and assorted holiday desserts. The price is $10.99 for ace|PLAY red, green and orange members, $13.19 for ace|PLAY blue or $14.65 without a card.

Rampart: Christmas Day Buffet will feature prime rib of beef, roasted turkey carving stations. Also included in the buffet will be American, Asian and Italian stations and assorted fresh pies, including pumpkin, apple and pecan. The special is available from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. for $16.99 with Player’s Card and $18.99 without a card.

Sam’s Town: Fill your B Connected card with points fast. Beginning Dec. 25, earn 5x points all day. Then each day add more points: Dec. 26, 6x; Dec. 27, 7x; Dec. 28, 8x; Dec. 29, 9x and Dec. 30, 10x. There is a maximum of 10,000 base points per day on video poker.

Rio: For the 13th consecutive year, casino headliners Penn & Teller will partner with United Blood Services to raise awareness of the need for donations during the holiday season. Those who donate blood between now and Tuesday, Dec. 31, will receive two complimentary tickets to Penn & Teller’s show.

The blood drive will be held at designated United Blood Services locations and mobile units. Penn & Teller perform in their Theatre nightly (dark Thursdays and Fridays) at 9 p.m. Tickets normally start at $75. Call the box office at 702-777-7776 for more information.
