Play different kinds of keno for better chances to win

Sometimes you are staying on the Strip and do not have a lot of choice in keno. Try out the Flamingo or Harrah’s specials for fun. While the return may not match downtown the variety is good.
On the front of the pay book is an 8-spot special for 40 cents a game (returns 51%). The ticket is $10 (25 games are required) and you can win $20,000.
Turn to the specials and find all kinds of tickets. Catch-All’s for $3 per ticket where you either hit it big or get nothing at all.
Catch 3 pays $150 (69% return).
Catch 4 pays $650 (66% return).
Catch 5 pays $2,600 (56% return).
Catch 6 pays $15,000 (64% return).
Catch 7 pays $80,000 (65% return).
Next, tickets with all types of catchy names and codes. Always make sure you put the appropriate code on the tickets so you are paid at the rate you want to play,
All these tickets have lesser pays if you do not hit all the numbers:
Crazy Fours: Bet $2, win $400 for 4-out-of-4 (68% return).
Little Extra Five: Bet $1.50, win $900 for 5-out-of-5 (53% return).
Favorite Six: Bet $1.50, win $4,000 for 6-out-of-6 (63% return).
Cool-4-U: Bet $1, catch 4-out-of-4, win $175 (58% return).
Just 7777s: Bet 70 cents, catch all 7, win $7,777 (49% return).
100 Dimes: You must play 100 games for this ticket at 10 cents per game. This is a 7-spot. Catch nothing, win 10 cents – your money back or a round trip years ago on the “nickel snatcher,” also known as the Peasants Ocean Voyage (Staten Island Ferry). Hit 6-of-7, win $20, and hit all 7, win $1,200 (56% return).
Want to really mix it up? Play several of these tickets at once on the same ticket, if allowed, as a combination (multiple ways). Thus, even on the Strip you can have a lot of fun. Play at the ticket minimums and you can have lots of fun for a small investment. Allow plenty of time as the keno lounge at the Flamingo and Harrah’s is in the back.
Have fun, play the various tickets, and with some luck you might hit one of these specials. Give it a try and let me know how you do. Make sure to pick the numbers that are drawn, rather than the ones that stay in the bowl (like saying, “always take insurance when the dealer has blackjack”).
Best of Luck to you!
