This week we travel “over the hump” to Pahrump and visit Club Nugget at the Pahrump Nugget Hotel Casino.
The Pahrump Nugget is owned by Golden Entertainment and is part of the Golden Casino Group that also includes the Gold Town Casino and Lakeside Casino & RV Park; however the clubs are not currently linked together.
Gold Town and Lakeside’s G-Club are linked together and there are plans in the works to bring all three properties together sometime in early 2016.
Club Nugget offers comp dollars and points, which guests can use for meals, hotel stays, gift shop merchandise, cigarettes, rounds of golf and logo merchandise. Players can also download free play at the machines with points at all three properties.
For Club Nugget, $1 equals 1 point for all play on slots and video reels, and $2 equals 1 point on video poker and keno. 1,000 points equals $5 in free slot play. Comp dollars are earned in addition to free play points at the rate of 200 points for $1 in comps. All new members signing up for the club have a chance to win up to $500 in free slot play.
Club Nugget has five different tier levels.
Red: 0-4,999 base points;
Copper: 5,000-29,999 base points;
Silver: 30,000-59,999 base points;
Gold: 60,000-124,999 base points;
Black: 125,000 or higher.
Tier levels are evaluated every 90 days. Special benefits for each tier level can be found online at: http://www.pahrumpnugget.com/gaming.
The G-Club, linked at Gold Town Casino and Lakeside Casino offers points available for guests to use. Every 2,500 points equals $5 in value. $1 coin-in equals 1 point on all machines. All new members also have a chance to win up to $500 in free slot play when signing up.
G-Club offers five different tier levels:
Red: 0-499 base points;
Silver: 500-24,999 base points;
Gold: 25,000-69,999 base points;
Platinum: 70,000-149,999 base points;
Royal: 150,000 or higher.
Tier levels are also evaluated every 90 days here. More information about tier levels and benefits can be found online at: http://www.gtowncasino.com/gaming.
Though the end of October, all three casinos are running the “$140,000 Spooktacular Cash Extravaganza.” There are daily cash drawings from 4-8 p.m. with one winner every hour at all three casinos winning $100 cash. At 9 p.m. a drawing is held where one winner is selected to win $1,000 at all three locations. Every 15 points equals one entry into the drawings.
In November, Pahrump Nugget will be presenting two Bonkerz Comedy Club nights in the Pahrump Events Center. Friday, Nov. 6 will feature Chris Cope and Friday, Nov. 27 features Mindy Rickles. Both shows start at 7 p.m. and admission is only $10, which also includes $5 in free slot play. Good deal!
