Only 9 out of 10 keno spots can win you over $1M at Atlantis

As of late last week, the Atlantis 9-spot progressive has risen to over $1 million. This is unique as normally to win a million at keno you would need to play a 10-spot, but currently it can be won hitting 9 of 10.
A 9-spot had odds of about 1.4 million to one while a 10-spot has odds of 8.9 million to one, thus it is about 6 times as easy to hit a 9-spot as a 10-spot solid (catching all numbers).
Meanwhile, all this play also generates a lot of action on the other progressives at Atlantis on the 4-, 5-, 6-, 7- and 8-spots. Thus if you are in the Reno/Sparks area, go for it!
Those into way tickets might ask how to play this ticket using ways. First of all you will need to play separate tickets for each way, but Atlantis has plenty of keno crayons and forms thus this should not present a problem. Personally I like the idea of having to hit less than all of your numbers to win the progressive.
Go for the 9. Try 3-3-3-3 and you have four tickets you can play, eliminating one group per ticket to make each 9-spot. Should the 6-spot progressive also be high enough for you, you can play the 6 group of 6s by playing two different groups of 3 per ticket. Are we having fun yet?
