Time to tune-up the poker strategies for the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Rock ‘n’ Roll Poker Open returning Nov. 13-Dec. 2.
During this World Poker Tour (WPT) Regional event, players can win their share of over $1.25 million in guaranteed prize pools in a challenging 20-event series in Hollywood, Florida.
The series opens with a $125 buy-in No-limit Hold ‘em Deep Stack event featuring a $150,000 guarantee. The No-limit Hold ‘em Championship Event will be held Nov. 29-Dec. 2 with a $1,650 buy-in for a $500,000 guaranteed prize pool.
The Rock ’n’ Roll Poker Open will have the added bonus of a leader board with added prizes for the top 20 point earners during the series. First place will receive a $5,300 entry into the $10 million Showdown Main Event in April 2014, a two-night stay at Seminole Hard Rock and a $200 gift certificate.
Second place will receive a $5,300 entry into the Main Event; third through 20th place will receive a $575 entry for a Main Event Mega to be used during the month of December.
Onsite registration is already open for all of the events. (Registration fee is non-refundable.) To participate, players must be 18 and obtain a free “Wild Card” at the Player’s Club or in the poker room.
