Ultimate Poker (www.UltimatePoker.com) America’s first regulated online gaming operator and the online poker product of Station Casinos, debuted the first episode of “Strip Magic,” a six episode web series featuring exclusive interviews and street magic with professional poker player Antonio Esfandiari.

The first six episodes are now live and can be viewed here:

Episode 1 of “Strip Magic” features Esfandiari’s return to the magic world after years on hiatus.

Once a professional magician, Esfandiari gave it all up to pursue his dream of becoming a professional poker player. The episode takes viewers through his story, from humble beginnings as a teenager learning magic to giving it up for the poker dream, interlaced with recently filmed impromptu magic performances on the famed Las Vegas Strip.

“Filming street magic takes me back to a special time in my life,” Esfandiari said. “I was a kid with a dream to be the next David Copperfield. That is all I cared about until I discovered poker. To succeed at poker and go back to magic as a hobby on the streets of Las Vegas was very fun for me.”

“Strip Magic” marks the first time an online poker site has produced an entertainment-based web series. Ultimate Poker created the series in an effort to give followers and fans a chance to see a different side to the site’s Team U players and staff by offering a window into the lives they lead away from the tables. Additional episodes will be released every Wednesday at youtube.com/ultimatepoker.

In related news, Ultimate Gaming and Peppermill Resort Spa Casino in Reno have agreed to terms in a joint marketing partnership.

Pending approval from the Nevada Gaming Control Board and the Nevada Gaming Commission, UltimatePoker.com will serve as the online poker room for Peppermill Resort Spa Casino in Reno, as well as its four additional properties, including Western Village Inn & Casino in Sparks, and Rainbow Hotel Casino, Peppermill Hotel Casino and Montego Bay Hotel Casino in Wendover, Nev.

Players will be able to deposit and cash out at any of Peppermill’s Nevada locations after they have created an account online.

“It is great to be able to offer our players an exciting and secure online poker product from a trusted partner like Ultimate Gaming,” remarked Billy Paganetti, general manager of Peppermill’s northern Nevada locations.

“We are very excited about this partnership as it gives us the opportunity to bring our online poker product to the Northern Nevada market through Peppermill’s extensive customer database,” remarked Ultimate Gaming Chief Executive Officer Tobin Prior.

“I love playing at Peppermill, and it’s great to know I can now deposit and cash out of my Ultimate Poker account when I’m there,” Esfandiari said.
