Apr 1, 2014 3:00 AM

The Orleans Casino poker room has announced their April promotions. Players can earn virtual drawing entries for Triple Draw Cash Drawings for every hour of “live” Texas hold’em play this month.

Three lucky winners will then be drawn every hour during specified time periods on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, and each winner will receive $100. Details can be found in the poker room. Also, for night owls, every day from 2 to 8 a.m., a cash amount (displayed in the room) will be awarded to the Texas hold’em High Hand of the hour.

Additionally, $300 will be up for grabs every hour to the three highest Texas hold’em hands. If there are three qualifying highest hands, the highest receives $150, second best receives $100 and third, $50. If there are only two qualifying highest hands, the highest will receive $200 and second best $100. If there is only one qualifying high hand, the player scoops the entire $300!

Finally, on specified days from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., a random Texas hold’em table will be selected and cash will be added (splashed) to the pot!

The Orleans poker room has been the winner of three awards, offers state-of-the art furnishings, plasma screens, 35 player tables, is open 24/7 and has a huge jackpot cash prize of up to $50,000. Players can order in-room food service and the house rake for April is a maximum $3 for all games!

South Point: The casino hosts daily no-limit Texas hold’em “Bounty” tournaments every Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday at 10 a.m., 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. plus every Wednesday and Sunday at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. Poker players have the opportunity to participate in each Bounty tournament for a $60 buy-in fee.

Players can also participate in a special no-limit Texas hold’em Deep-Stack tournament every Wednesday and Sunday at 6 p.m. When casino players purchase a buy-in for $100, they will receive $7,500 in tournament chips. Guests can also receive an additional $2,500 in tournament chips for a $10 add-on purchase.
