Registration officially opened March 31, for this year’s 48th running of the World Series of Poker, which officially opens May 30 at the Rio All Suite Hotel & Casino.
The something-for-everyone schedule includes gold bracelets, satellites, cash games and deep stack tournaments running for 49 consecutive days with the Main Event reaching its final nine players July 17.
To accommodate the players, who come from all over the world, WSOP is expected to have nearly 500 poker tables set up in the Rio’s 100,000-plus square feet of ballroom space.
Players can register for WSOP events in-person at the Rio, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, or online at BravoPokerLive.com, the registration software provider for WSOP.
