The Sixth Annual Grand Dragon Master Baccarat Championship kicks off the Las Vegas leg of the competition on July 21, 2017 at The Palazzo Las Vegas. The global championship is also held at Las Vegas Sands properties in Macao and Singapore.

The Grand Dragon Master Baccarat Championship provides baccarat enthusiasts the ultimate tournament experience. Las Vegas players can compete for a portion of a $1.2 million prize pool over three tournaments - the $200,000 Golden Dragon Baccarat Tournament, the $250,000 Ruby Dragon Baccarat Tournament, and the $750,000 Royal Dragon Baccarat Tournament - all culminating in the Global Final to be held at Marina Bay Sands in Singapore in 2018.

The $200,000 Golden Dragon Baccarat Tournament takes place from July 21 through July 24 and July 28 through July 31. This tournament features a $25,000 daily prize pool, paid out to 80 winners each day. All Grazie members receive one complimentary tournament entry per day. Unlimited rebuys can be purchased for $50. The top daily winner in the Golden Dragon Baccarat Tournament will automatically advance to the Ruby Dragon Baccarat Tournament.

The invitation-only Ruby Dragon Baccarat Tournament offers a $250,000 prize pool, with top prize of $200,000. The Ruby Dragon Baccarat Tournament will take place October 6-8, and features unlimited $1,500 re-buys. The top six winners in the Ruby Dragon Baccarat Tournament will advance to the preliminary round of the invite-only $750,000 Royal Dragon Baccarat Tournament on November 4.

In addition to sharing in a $750,000 promotional chip prize pool, the top three finishers in the invite-only Royal Dragon Baccarat Tournament will advance to the Global Final at Marina Bay Sands in Singapore in 2018. Each advancer will receive one complimentary entry to the semi-finals of the Global Final Tournament, including round-trip transportation to Singapore, accommodations at Marina Bay Sands, and a food and beverage allowance for the player and a guest.

The traditional table game of baccarat has taken on a new level of popularity with American audiences, so much so that The Venetian and The Palazzo have taken strides to make the game much more accessible to players with traditional tables available from only a $25 minimum bet, as well as the only Imperial Baccarat on the Strip - a live dealt $5 minimum baccarat game played on an electronic betting terminal.
