IGT's Coyote Moon howls

This week I visited the Eastside Cannery to try out their buffet. Always the bargain hunter, I came in possession of a 2-for-1 coupon and decided to try it out. When we got to the buffet we were told to keep our coupon if we had a players card, which of course I did, because for the whole month of October when you show your card on Tuesday or Wednesday; the buffet is 2-for-1. On top of that, the one received the players card discount; no coupon required.

The buffet was great. They had a baked potato station and the desserts were yummy. If you go, try one of powdered sugar covered cookies, I don’t know what they are called but they melt in your mouth. They are almost worth the price of the buffet by themselves.

After the buffet I walked all the way around the casino floor. First to scope out what I intended to play and second to walk off some of the meal.

I spied Coyote Moon, a 40-line 20x max bet game from IGT. I love the stacked wild symbols that howl when in a winning combination. They appear frequently and when they stack you can pull some really nice payouts. You can even win a bonus round.

The Rising Moon bonus starts when the bonus symbol lands in any position on reels 2, 3 and 4. You’re awarded five free spins that play automatically using the same bet per line and number of lines as the initiating game. If the bonus symbol lands in any position on reels 2, 3 and 4 during the bonus round, you’re awarded an additional five free spins up to 255 free spins.

I play 1x per line, but if I can afford to I like to play 2x per line. I play all 40 lines but I know several people like to play an odd number of lines. They think this confuses the machine and it will pay better. You have to go into the pay/help section to make this kind of bet because the manufacturer only gives you even bet amount buttons to choose from on the face of the machine.
