IGT’s Jeopardy! Multi-Level Progressives feature five reels, 60 pay lines (one credit activates two lines), with Stacked Wilds and scattered bonus symbols. You have to make a 30¢ side bet to be eligible for a bonus game. In this game, the progressive amounts on each machine are independent of each other, giving you the option to "shop" for the best progressive amount.
Five scattered bonus symbols begin a 10 free spins bonus starring Jeopardy! Double Jeopardy! and Final Jeopardy! bonus rounds.
During the Jeopardy! bonus, each reel corresponds with a Jeopardy! category on the top box game board. When a reel spin reveals a credit value as a symbol, the corresponding top box value reveals either a "blank" (no bonus trigger), a bonus retrigger or a level-up bonus trigger. If you get a Jeopardy! Progressive symbol you win the amount in the 1st progressive level (starts at $10). If you get a Double Jeopardy! symbol in one of the categories you get an additional 10 free spins at 2x the pay after you finish the original free spins and a chance to win the Double Jeopardy! progressive (the 2nd progressive level starts at $100.) Or the Final Jeopardy! symbol may come up which takes you to the Final Jeopardy! bonus after your 10 free spins are done.
During the Final Jeopardy round, you play a pick-to-win bonus in which you are presented with five Jeopardy! categories with a chance to win the Final Jeopardy! progressive (starts a $1,000).
You have the chance to win all three in-house progressives. More credits, including the progressive jackpots, can be won as you move from the Jeopardy! to Double Jeopardy! rounds.
In addition, if you are playing the max bet and get five Jeopardy! symbols on line one you can win the MegaJackpot that starts at $100,000! Along with the MegaJackpots prize, it is also possible to win all three during all the bonus rounds.
I played 60¢ which is the smallest amount you can play and be eligible for the progressives since this was the first time I’d played the game and I wanted my money to last so I could see how the game worked. I did get into the bonus round and won the first level progressive ($22.25) which starts at $20. I watched others playing and those who were playing more credits got into the bonus more often and seemed to progress to the other levels and won both the first and second progressives, while those playing the minimum didn’t seem to get past the first round.
