Village Pubs are popular local taverns owned by Ellis Island Casino & Brewery. They are known for friendly service, great food and slot gaming. They have served the Las Vegas community for over 40 years.
Over the years they have expanded to 12 properties in total that include Casino Valle Verde in Henderson, Yorky’s (Fort Apache and Hacienda), and nine Village Pubs throughout Las Vegas and Henderson. All locations proudly serve Ellis Island’s (EI) famous craft brewed beers, the number one brewery in the state of Nevada.
Current food and beverage promotions include Happy Hour at all locations Monday through Friday from 3 to 6 p.m. and again from 11 p.m. to 3 a.m. when all EI draft beers, house wines and cocktails are $2.50 and select appetizers are half off. Lunch specials for $5.99 are served daily from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. BBQ Ribs are also a daily special. A full slab runs $12.99 and the half rack is $8.99. Both are served with homemade potato salad, homemade coleslaw and garlic bread.
Ellis Island has its own separate slot club, the Passport Player’s Club (reviewed March 8, 2016.) Village Pubs, Casino Valle Verde and Yorky’s all are part of the popular Gamblers Bonus players club from Century Gaming Technologies.
Players are awarded Gamblers Bonus (GB) points as they play that they can convert over to cash on their machine. GB is a “card-less” log-in system, requiring only a member number and a PIN for access. One dollar coin-in equals one point (video poker and blackjack) and 1,000 points equals $1 in cash. Video keno and slot players receive 2x points always. Minimum cash out amount is $5. Depending on your play, Village Pubs sends “checks” to players monthly, up to $1,200, that can be redeemed on the machines at any location.
Players are awarded bonus points for types of hands hit such as keno hits in value of $200 or more, four of a kind card of the month, straight flush or royal flush. These types of hands generate a virtual Pig Race where they can win up to up to $150 or a Wheel Spin for a chance to win up to $300 for a royal flush. Players may redeem a maximum of $25 to $150 in Gamblers Bonus points per day, depending on their club level.
Players can also earn virtual drawing tickets for monthly drawings by hitting certain poker, keno or slot wins. GB members can earn and redeem points at any GB location. Their unique “two-bucket” point system allows earned points to be redeemed at any GB location, while bonus points won via promotions are location-specific and can be redeemed at the location where they were won.
Additional promotions include Happy Hour for players between 11 a.m. and 7 p.m. daily. Every hour one logged in player is drawn electronically for the Happy Hour virtual Dog Race where they can win up to $12 per race.
Bally and Power Vision video poker titles at Village Pub locations offer players a bonus of 2,000 credits on any 10-coin royal flush, paying 10,000 credits instead of the typical 8,000 credits for those wagering 10 coins per hand.
Village Pubs also have a “W2G First Time Ever Bonus” and “Daily W2G Calendar Day Bonus.” When you hit your first W2G in any of the Pubs you will receive a cash bonus voucher between $100 and $500 cash, depending on denomination played. When you hit your first W2G for the calendar day you will receive a cash bonus voucher between $25 and $125, depending on the denomination played, at all locations.
Customer Appreciation Parties are held on the last Saturday of every month, from 6 to 9 p.m., with $2,000 cash giveaways at the following locations: Rainbow, Bermuda, Wigwam, Airport, Gibson, Rainbow, Horizon and Summerlin. Winners’ names are drawn electronically every half hour.
Casino Valle Verde has a weekly Saturday night drawing giving away $600 cash and Yorky’s has a weekly video poker tournament giving away $200 in points every Saturday night.
