Last week I reviewed skilled-based gaming seen at the Global Gaming Expo, specifically a new company called GameCo, introducing the first skill-based games into the market in Atlantic City. If you missed it you can check it out online.
This week, I’m reviewing some of the new games being offered this fall and over the coming New Year brought to you by IGT, Aristocrat, Aruze, Ainsworth, Everi and Konami.
IGT’s new slot theme The Voice Video Slots transports players to the set of one of TV’s most popular shows, which is viewed in more than 180 countries.
Housed on the new CrystalCurve ULTRA cabinet, The Voice Video Slots delivers an immersive player experience with popular songs and video footage from the TV show, bank-wide win celebrations, and a symbol set that features several “The Voice” coaches from around the world including Blake Shelton, Adam Levine and Ricky Martin.
The Voice Video Slots incorporates the show’s iconic rotating chairs and Chair Choice button in the game’s base and bonus play.
G2E marked the world debut for IGT’s CrystalCurve cabinet. The hardware solution boasts a 43-inch curved Ultra HD screen that delivers pristine 4k resolution graphics. Players can experience new IGT titles on the CrystalCurve cabinet such as Betty White’s Story Time Video Slots, Betty White’s Tall Tales Video Slots, Ghostbusters Video Slots and Harley-Davidson Video Slots.
IGT will also introduce a revamped version of one of its most successful multi-level progressives of all time, Fort Knox Video Slots. Fort Knox Diamond Vault Video Slots and Fort Knox Cleopatra Video Slots are both linked title five-level progressives with mystery and symbol-driven bonuses.
Aruze Gaming is known for its extreme neon-lighted games such as Paradise Fishing and sister game Amazon Fishing, and the clacking sounds of games heard when you hit a bonus round on games as such Ultra Stack Lion, Dragon, Panda, Bison, Diamond, Feature Rose and others.
Coming to the casino floors this year will be new versions of these games with improved cabinetry and graphics plus new versions of these popular formats in extreme tower stacks and a new “Pile’em Up” bonus round.
Ainsworth Gaming revealed new slot games like Cinderella and King Kong.
New versions of their Sweet Zone and Sweet Zone Extreme games were also on display at the show.
Aristocrat, the makers of possibly the most popular slot ever, Buffalo, debuted a new multi-line video baccarat game, the first (that we’ve ever seen) of its kind.
Lightning Link, a very popular game that made its way into the market this past year, will soon be offered in new versions including an Asian-themed Dragon Link.
Also showcased were Sharknado and country favorite, Tim McGraw slots.
Look for new games from Konami Gaming to include Fortune Streams, Jackpot Streams and Jackpot Ball.
Konami is always popular on the casino floors with games like China Shores, Mystery Shores, and Dragon’s Law, and with their Xtra Rewards game series under a variety of different titles.
Everi showcased new Penn & Teller slots with bonus rounds that trigger magic tricks by the popular illusionists.
Other new offerings included older comic-book themed characters like Underdog, Casper (The Friendly Ghost) and Richie Rich with eight progressive level jackpots.
