Phil Hevener has been writing about the business, politics and leading personalities of the U.S. casino industry for more than 30 years.

He has been a columnist and editor for major casino-related publications and was recently awarded the Lifetime Achievement Award in gaming communications fin 2005 rom the American Gaming Association.

He continues to publish his Phil Hevener's Gaming Hotline, a bi-weekly newsletter that for the last 14 years has followed current gaming issues and the personalities who drive them.

He also currently writes a weekly column for GamingToday as he works on his second mystery novel.
