OAK TREE at SANTA ANITA

RIGHT TO WORK: Just got the maiden breaker at Fairplex in the easiest way as she blitzed this group of 32k maiden claimers by more than five lengths under a hand ride. Look for her to run in one of those claim proof starter races.

BARBARA’S LOVE: Was last seen running at Oak Tree last October. She got a very good prep here in this Optional claimer powering away down the lane winning by more than three lengths. She will repeat at Oak Tree. $$$$$

BIG JAY: Was squeezed at the start, forced to steady sharply off heels and was shuffled back. looking out of the race. He regrouped, came four wide into the lane and closed with a rush to be a clear second in what was a big time try for a 25k maiden claimer.

TALLAHSOCEAN: Came from off the pace, was between horses and looked to be making a winning move but could not sustain her run. Next time she may keep going on for the win for her new connections.

JOKING SAM: Had a very eventful trip but was making up ground late and has the looks of a horse that is on the improve. This guy may pop at a good price.

LAUREN C: Is another that was last seen running at Oak Tree last October. She showed here and got a great prep when running a good second. Next time out it could be a trip to the winner’s circle and the price will be a good one. $$$

GOLDEN GATE FIELDS

IN SESSION: Looked great winning this race when coming from just off the pace and motoring home down the lane in what was an easy win. He goes from one good barn to another and looks like a repeater.

PENNY DO RIGHT: Was bet like a good thing but got shuffled back when bumped at the start. She then got in some trouble when trying to make her move and had to swing out for room. Once clear she came on stron, getting up for the place.

KLEVEN’S VERBATIM: Ran huge on this turf course at almost 11-1. She could have won this race but did not see the odds-on favorite coming from the far outside. Give this girl a big shot if she comes back on the grass.

HAIMISH HY: Was in from Del Mar and made easy work of this crew despite trouble. This guy will move up and repeat. $$$$$

CONTROL SEEKER: Was very unlucky to lose this race as he was one of three noses on the line despite lacking room turning into the stretch. This hard knocker will be a nice single next time out going long on the grass.
