Race 1

No. 7 Bullfighter ran big first time out for Baffert and looks like a short price winner. 7

Race 2

No. 1 Outlaw Man is in from Churchill Downs for trainer McPeek and looks to be spotted for the win as he will be the controlling speed. No. 10 Royal F J exits our HTW list but will need a perfect trip under Joel Rosario from that outside post going a flat mile on the grass. 1-10

Race 3

No. 2 Scottish Diamond is one consistent 5yo gelding being in the money 23 out of 32 races and he has finished first or second in his four starts. No. 5 Six Pack Abs drops in class and looks to be the main danger to Diamond. 2-5

Race 4

No. 1 West Ruler may be this good, No. 5 Salty Fries exits a nice win at the Gate, No. 7 La Nez wins this race if she doesn’t run Saturday against the boys. 1-5-7

Race 5

No. 3 Shimby gets Sutherland back in the irons and the best race this 8yo gelding has run in eons was the last time she rode and it was here at Santa Anita at this flat mile distance. 3

Race 6

No. 7 Land of the Giants is a first time starter for Todd Pletcher and we may get a good price with Quinonez in the irons, No. 8 Pious David looks live off the layoff. 7-8

Race 7

No. 2 Cherokee Artist is back in town for trainer Motion after a successful trip back east, No. 3 Proudinsky has two wins and a second from three races here at Santa Anita and trainer Ascaniio has been doing a great job with the late Bobby Frankel horses. No. 4 Lava Man is suppose to be like new as he has had some bone work, we will wait and see. No. 7 Loup Breton exits our HTW list and looks like he is sitting on a monster effort.

Race 8

No. 1 Monolingual is very consistent and will be right there at the wire, No. 5 Bestdressed is an old pro who always puts in his late run. 1-5

Race 9

No. 3 Body Builder exits our HTW list and looks set for the maiden breaker, No. 7 Aces Of Aces and No. 11 Albany Road look to be the main danger. 3-7-11

GOLDEN GATE FIELDS

Race 1

No. 3 Meridian Diablo has some big longshot potential as he just may get a good setup and pick up the pieces late with a patient ride. 3

This one looks like a two horse race with No. 2 Moscato who will sit right off a hot pace and No. 3 Kalookan Boss who gets back on his favorite surface and his favorite distance. 2-3

No. 2 Cortney’s Fame loves this track with three wins and a second from four starts here, No. 4 Teacher’s Rule and No. 7 Gloria Jeanne look to be the main danger. 2-4-7

We will give No. 4 Ironman one more shot as trainer Hollendorfer does not give up on him and he gets him back on the green. 4

No. 1 My Secret Weapon is in from Hollywood and just may find these 2yo fillies to her liking, No. 8 Crimson Queen looks best of the ones that have run here. 1-8

No. 2 Come On Mama will be making her late run, No. 3 Vindictive Cat drops trying to cash and No. 5 See Eye To Eye gets her first start off the claim and has won four of eight here at the Gate. 2-3-5

No. 4 Lightnin’ Up looks set to graduate with the drop in class. 4

Race 8

No. 4 Jaylo Marino will take some beating but No. 5 Single Reason is in top form and will be right there at the wire. 4-5

No. 5 My Bailout looks like a logical single in the late pick four. 5
