Jockey Joel Rosario is back from suspension and rides No. 2 Capt. Sparrow who will get a great trip behind all the speed. 2

Race 2

Maidens going a flat mile and Carla Gaines has two entered No. 3 Good Measure who may be the speed and No. 4 Full Strength the closer. 3-4

Race 3

No. 6 Changing exits a very gutty effort and this 8yo gelding gets a big time boost in class by the sneaky Avila. 6

Race 4

If No. 7 Forever My Love can sneak away with a soft early lead she could be gone before the others realize it. 7

Race 5

Trainer John Sadler look to have found a good spot for the 4yo Eloquently who was very highly thought of early last year. She will get a good pace to set up her late run. 4

Race 6

Trainer Mike Mitchell goes back down the ladder with No. 1 Uffizi but this old pro is a must use especially with Sutherland riding from the rail, she will save all the ground and has no fear of coming up the rail. Trainer Jeff Mullins sends out the red hot No. 4 Yodelen Dan who is looking for his fifth win in his last six races. 1-4

Baffert has two entered in here No. 2 Toro Bonito who gets the services of the hot riding Espinoza and the speedster No. 4 Underground. No. 7 Stevie’s Afleet will be making a big late run at all the speed. 2-4-7

No. 3 Evita Argentina exits our HTW list, she loves this 7 furlong distance and will once again be making her big late run. No. 7 Proviso is a classy Bill Mott invader that will take some beating, 3-7

No. 1 Mind The Ladies is a live first time starter for trainer Specht, he has some sharp work on the 24th and his sire hits at 33% with first time starter. No. 7 Big Bad Boo is in from Santa Anita and Kayla Stra says she will ride for trainer Abrams. 1-7

Race 6

No. 1 Big Wave Rider will sit right on the rail and right off a hot early pace and Baze will make his run at the top of the stretch and just hope for room. No. 6 Jet Iron will be the one to fear late as he will be making a big wide late run. 1-6

No. 2 Unusual Encounter is a first time starter that finds his way into town and is another who Abrams has shipped in. No. 4 Skipshot finds his way into the Jerry Hollendorfer barn; he was last seen running in a little stakes race at Santa Rosa last August. 2-4

Race 8

No. 5 Lilly Fa Pootz just did miss in her first start off the Hollendorfer claim, No. 1 Cato Major exits the same race as Fa Pootz and these two could hit the wire together. 1-5

No. 4 Toppers Way is not a proven loser as most of the others have become and we can say the same thing for No. 7 Ambedeux. 4-7
