No. 4 Price is trained by Howard Zucker who also sends out No. 7 Country Tough, he hits at 31-percent first in the grass and 46-percent dirt to grass. 4-7

Race 2

No. 2 Portfolio has run two good races and will be tough once again with Espinoza sticking, No. 5 She’s Not Lion is a second time starter for trainer Todd Pletcher that only needs to improve a tad off her first start to win. No. 6 Saltendipity beat She’s Not Lion in her first start. 2-5-6

No. 3 Fluke and No. 4 Battle Of Hastings are the class in this mile handicap on the grass. 3-4

Let’s take a shot with the three outside horses in this downhill turf handicap and use No. 9 Empressive Lady who will improve off of her first try down the hill on Jan 3. No. 10 Porto Marmay has won on this layout and jockey Chantal Sutherland will be a perfect fit for the Julio Canani trainee. No. 11 Hermione’s Magic exits the same race as Empressive Lady and she will be putting in a big late run. 9-10-11

No. 3 Figeac is dropped like a hot potato but trainer Gary Stute hits at 25-percent with this move, No. 4 Outside Shot ran a good one in his last start on the pro ride and a repeat of that effort could get him home on top. No. 10 A Big To’do will get a good stalking trip and will be a big price for the win less Jack Van Berg who will pop with a boxcar payoff very soon. 3-4-10

No. 1 Imperial Pride took big action in his one and only start a second place finish by a dwindling half a length. No. 3 Songfoya and No. 4 Royce both exit the same race. No. 5 Cragmont looks set for a big effort off of that 6 furlong work here on Jan 31. 1**-3-4-5

We have a nice Kentucky Derby prep in the GR 2 Robert B. Lewis featuring the undefeated and very highly regarded Tiz Chrome out of the Bob Baffert barn and the undefeated Caracortado who exits our HTW list. Also in here is the Eoin Harty highly regarded No. 6 American Lion. We will try and beat all three and use No. 2 Dave In Dixie a big up and comer out of the hot John Sadler barn, he will sit back and try and run them all down. 2

In the GR 2 Strub we’ll take a small shot and make a dime super box using five horse and just hope for some luck. We will use No. 1 Eagle Poise, No.2 Rendezvous, No.4 Viscount, No.5 Gallant Son and No.10 Massone. 1-2-4-5-10

Race 1

No. 6 Kaptain Kordough has big speed and will have to be caught, No. 7 Bev’s Ex exits our HTW list and will be the one trying to run the Kaptain down in the stretch. 6-7

Race 2

No. 1 Ippon has some good early speed, he gets a break in the weights and that just could get him home. No. 4 Super Salesman gets R Baze riding for Mason and that means go.

No. 6 Lady Tale is one of two Steven Miyadi runners in here and he hits at a very high percentage when he has two in the same race and they are not an entry. His other horse he owns and trains, No. 7 Carson’s Copper. 6-7

No. 2 Naturally Perfect takes a big drop in class as they try to get back to the winners’ circle. No. 5 Brian’s Mark has a real nice work since her last start. 2-5

No. 1 Beau Smoke has the rail and speed, No. 3 Dizzy In Denmark takes a suspicious drop after back-to-back good races. No. 7 Cloudbreaker exits our HTW list and looks to be sitting on a big effort. 1-3-7

Race 7

We will go the speed, No. 7 Old College Try and the one who will try and run him down No. 8 Powerized. 7-8

Race 8

No. 2 Taxi Fleet gets his first start off the Hollendorfer claim but he gets a big drop off the long layoff. No. 3 Full Power Ahead gets R Baze back in the irons and he won with this guy the last time he rode. No. 5 Second Hand Lion is always right there. 2-3-5

Race 9

No. 5 Horowitz looks odds on to win this race, his main danger will come from No. 6 Alwayswise. 5-6
