No. 1 Kin’s Leading Man will be in a good spot turning for home and just may get the jump on them. No. 8 Chimu looks live at first asking. 1-8

Race 2

No. 2 Boyoboy changed his style in his last start and got the win, No. 3 Cut The Check is the one to catch, No. 7 I Wanna Go Fast exits our Golden Gate HTW list as trainer Steve Sherman ship South, Rosario says he will ride. 2-3-7

Race 3

Down the hill we go, No. 4 Ace Of Aces a 3yo gelding with some big talent gets a turn back in distance and will be very tough with these, No. 6 Macias also gets a turn back in distance but won his only start on this downhill turf course, No. 7 Via Verde also has a win on this course and that was his maiden breaker. 4-6**-7

No. 1 Sandy Cheeks was scratched on Thursday for this spot and it looks like trainer Abrams has picked a good one as she looks to be the only closer in a field loaded with early speed. 1

The Robert B. Lewis, a Grade 2 Kentucky Derby prep, features the undefeated and highly regarded Baffert trainee No. 2 Tiz Chrome who will get his first taste of two turning also in here is the undefeated No. 4 Caracortado who exits our HTW list, this guy looked super in his first two turn race last time out. No. 3 American Lion a Grade 3 winner at Hollywood also will take a lot of action but we will take a shot with No. 1 Dave In Dixie who will sit last and make one big move down the lane under jockey Joel Rosario and he could run them all down at what should be a fair price. 1

The old pro No. 4 Becrux takes a big drop in class, if he still has any run left he will win. 4

Race 8

No. 3 St Trinians has won all three of her starts here in the U.S. since arriving from Great Britain for trainer Mike Mitchell, she will get the acid test here in the Grade 2 Santa Maria Handicap. No. 4 Mushka had her feel of the course at Oak Tree and Hall Of Fame jock Dent Desormeaux is back in town for the ride for trainer Mott. No. 8 Life Is Sweet, the stablemate of Zenyatta is the girl to beat but his may not be her best distance and she will be overbet. 3-4-8

Race 9

The Grade 2 Strub features the very tough No. 1 Misremembered who just ran a good second in the Grade 1 Malibu, he is the one to beat. No. 8 Rendezvous could pull the upset with the very hot Bejarano riding for Jerry Hollendorfer. We will use both in the late pick four. 1-8

Race 10

No. 3 Royal F J has run second in all three of his turf routes but today could be his day. No. 7 Ad Infinitum exits a very fast race and looks set for the turf and the stretchout, the price will be a good one with the low profile Almeida in the irons. No. 8 King Of Kendall looks to be sitting on a big run. 3-7-8

No. 1 Avilion Air has speed and the rail, No. 3 Pat Olcott is in from Santa Anita and finds a soft spot, No. 6 Jordon’s Sister will be coming with a late run. 1-3-6

No. 2 Primary Notice is the speed and has won five of eight starts at this 5½ furlong distance.2
