International Game Technology (IGT) announced on Monday that it had appointed Susan Macke as its chief marketing officer.
New to the gaming industry, Macke will be leaving her post as vice president of global marketing for Hewlett-Packard’s handheld business. She also has held executive positions with Nokia and IBM.
"IGT’s new attitude," said Eric Tom, executive vice president of sales and marketing, "calls for a new way of looking at how we market our products. Susan’s track record is in line with our goal of being a marketing-driven company."
