American Wagering CFO resigns

American Wagering Inc. (BETM) has advised the Securities and Exchange Commission that its chief financial officer and treasurer, Melody Sherrill, resigned and left the company on Feb. 19.

Victor Salerno, president and CEO, said he has assumed Sherrill’s duties on an interim basis.

 Under the terms of her separation from the company, Sherrill will be paid three months salary as well as for the unused leave time she may have accrued.

She also has agreed to a non-competition and non-solicitation covenant, as well as a non-disparagement covenant, the filing reported.

In other personnel changes, PokerTek Inc. (PTEK) announced that Mark Roberson has been named the company’s chief executive officer. He has held the position on a temporary basis since May, 2009.

Roberson also serves as the company’s chief financial officer and treasurer.

At MGM MIRAGE Inc. (MGM), it was announced that Dr. Joseph H. Sugerman had resigned from the company’s board of directors. He indicated he planned to concentrate on the commitments of his medical practice.
