New Jersey gaming regulators announced that Atlantic City’s 11 casinos saw their profits decline by 22.6 percent during the first quarter of 2010. The reported profits were $149 million compared to $192.5 million a year earlier.
The Sumner County Commission has unanimously endorsed the $255 million casino proposal of Global Gaming LLC for a Kansas casino license.
Slot machine business improved in July at Connecticut’s two tribal casinos. Foxwoods Resort Casino said revenue was $64.1 million, up one percent from 2009 while Mohegan Sun reported revenue of $70.3 million, up from $69.1 million last year.
