Casino-resort developer Las Vegas Sands Corp. (LVS) says it has won a labor dispute in Israel against a former executive who said he gave billionaire CEO Sheldon Adelson the idea to invest in Macau.

Company officials say the District Labor Court in Tel Aviv dismissed a claim from Moshe Hananel on Tuesday. Hananel is the former chief executive of Interface Partners International Ltd., a company owned by Adelson in Israel.

Hananel accused Adelson of giving him an option for 12% of the company's business in Macau for helping Sands get a concession from the Chinese government to build resorts.

Las Vegas Sands says the court ruled there's no justification for the claim.

Adelson sued Hananel in federal court in Nevada, saying the claims defamed him, but that suit was dismissed in 2009.
