Boyd Gaming has added its name to the list of companies hoping for federal action to regulate Internet poker but will accept a “state-by-state approach” to getting the games going.

Well-placed followers of congressional attitudes project increasing doubt lawmakers will enact legislation this year. They see Congress as being focused on presidential politics, which party will control Congress and not much else.
