Dennis Gomes, the recently deceased gaming executive who held prominent positions in casinos in Las Vegas and Atlantic City, has been chosen for induction into the Gaming Hall of Fame.
The announcement was made by the American Gaming Association.
“When Dennis Gomes passed earlier this year,” said AGA President Frank Fahrenkopf Jr., “the casino industry lost one of its boldest and most creative owners. Dennis’ energy and enthusiasm were contagious, and some of his marketing ideas are still being talked about today.”
The induction ceremony will be held Oct. 23 in Las Vegas.
