Double Down Interactive, the company that was purchased earlier this year by International Game Technology (IGT), has added the poker game Texas Hold’em to its virtual casino on Facebook.

The announcement came last week as Wall Street contemplated the initial public offering of the social media company that began trading on NASDAQ on Friday.

The company said the public Texas Hold’em poker game is available to all poker lovers, with or without their Facebook friends, and is the second poker title with Double Down Casino, joining Omaha Poker.

“Our launch of Texas Hold’em Poker is a huge step forward for us and the poker community on Facebook,” said Greg Enell, founder of Double Down Interactive. He noted that the game is free to play and offered four different playing speeds to accommodate beginning players and poker professionals.
